A Year in The Forest ; The Awakening

£180.00

6 Week Rewilding; The Awakening, February 2027 Into March 2027

The Internal Shift;

From Stillness to Stirring: Finding hope, energy, and the courage to begin again.

The Season ; Winter into Spring

Honouring the Thresholds

We witness the liminal spaces—the quiet, blurring edges where one season exhales and the next begins to stir.

By observing these transitions rather than just the destinations, we learn to navigate the "in-between" moments of our own lives.

Week 1: The Deep Rest (Mid-Winter)

We begin in the heart of the quiet. The forest is stripped back to its essentials. We honour the "dormancy" within ourselves—the parts of us that have been resting or hidden.

  • The Invitation: "The Architecture of Silence." Observing the bare "bones" of the trees and the stillness of the frozen earth.

  • The Goal: Finding peace in being "unproductive" and appreciating the beauty of a blank canvas.

Week 2: The First Thaw (The Softening)

The air changes. The ice begins to weep, and the soil starts to breathe again. We look for the "hidden movement" beneath the surface.

  • The Invitation: "Listening to the Trickle." Following the sound of melting water or the squelch of softening mud.

  • The Goal: Noticing where we are beginning to "soften" in our own lives and where our own flow is returning.

Week 3: The Sap Rising (Internal Energy)

The trees are waking up internally long before we see leaves. There is an invisible "pressure" of life moving upward.

  • The Invitation: "Tree Heartbeat." Placing our hands (or ears) against the bark of maples or birches, imagining the massive lift of water from root to crown.

  • The Goal: Connecting with our own internal spark—the ideas or energies that are stirring but not yet visible to the world.

Week 4: The Scout Buds (The First Signs)

The "brave ones" appear—the pussy willows, the snowdrops, or the tightly furled leaf buds. The forest is taking its first risks.

  • The Invitation: "The Micro-Search." A slow wander to find the tiny, fuzzy, or bright "points of promise" on the tips of branches.

  • The Goal: Identifying the small, "brave" steps we want to take in our own lives this season.

Week 5: The Equinox (The Balance of Light)

Day and night are equal. The sun finally has enough strength to warm the skin. The forest is poised on the edge of a massive explosion of green.

  • The Invitation: "The Sun-Catching Ritual." Finding a patch of light and feeling the literal transition of temperature. We practice "Balance Breath"—inhaling the cool winter air, exhaling the warm spring promise.

  • The Goal: Finding our as we transition from "Internal/Private" time to "External/Social" time.

Week 6: The Green Fire (Early Spring Integration)

The transition is complete. The first "wash" of green is over the forest floor. The birds have returned, and the air is loud with life.

  • The Invitation: "The Sprouting Tea Ceremony." We sit among the new shoots, drinking a fresh, herbal forest tea. We celebrate our own "leafing out."

  • The Goal: Leaving the 6-week journey feeling energized, renewed, and ready to grow.

6-Week Rewilding: A Seasonal Immersion

From Winter into Spring

Most of us live our lives indoors, governed by clocks and glowing screens. We’ve forgotten that we don't just visit nature—we are nature. The 6-Week Rewilding is a guided journey designed to help you shed your "city skin," recalibrate your nervous system, and come home to yourself through the medicine of the forest.

By meeting weekly, we move beyond a one-time experience and enter a true relationship with the land as it shifts from one state to the next.

What to Expect

Over six weeks, we transition from the "doing" mind to the "being" body. Each session is uniquely themed to mirror the current seasonal transition:

  • Weeks 1-2: Thresholds. Slowing the pace, opening the senses, and leaving the noise of the modern world behind.

  • Weeks 3-4: The Deepening. Developing "forest eyes" and practicing the art of stillness. We align our internal rhythm with the pulse of the changing Seasons.

  • Weeks 5-6: Integration. Harvesting the insights found in the woods and learning how to carry this wild peace back into your everyday life.

The Details

  • Frequency: One hour session per week for six weeks.

  • The Experience: Guided invitations, slow movement, tea ceremonies, and group sharing.

  • Investment: £200 (Includes all materials and seasonal forest tea).

Why the 6-week format?

Science shows that "forest bathing" has an immediate effect on cortisol, but habitual connection creates lasting neurological change. By the third week, your brain begins to recognize the forest as a "safe space," allowing for deeper emotional processing and creative clarity that a single walk can’t always reach.

Each 1 hour weekly session will be privately planned ahead to suit your schedule and location preferences, across 6 weeks covering dates in February & March 2027, to be confirmed.
